Why we're mandating 2FA

Protecting your business and keeping your data secure has always been a top priority for us. We’re proud to set a new industry standard by mandating the use of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to access your Healthcode Account across all our products and services.

Why 2FA?

2FA adds an additional layer of security. If someone gets hold of your password, they won't be able to access your Healthcode Account without a second piece of information - in this case a code on your phone from an authenticator app or a text message.

This helps to:

  • Fight phishing - even if you accidentally share your password, 2FA stops unauthorised people from getting in
  • Remain compliant and prepared for audits - certifications like Cyber Essentials mandate the implementation of 2FA
  • Feel secure - with 2FA, you can relax knowing your account has stronger security, giving you more peace of mind

What this means for you

To ensure uninterrupted access to your products & services, set up your 2FA method if you haven't done so already. Getting started is easy and we've all the help you need here.

Once mandated, you'll be asked to set up 2FA before you can access any of your products and services.
